Part of our Mayan Adventures:

The crew of Ad Astra took 10 days off to vacation with Neil Bethke (Erik’s Dad) to explore the Yucatan Peninsula.

We started with Tulum, then on to Coba, then all kinds of Cenotes, then the epic trip to Chitchen Itza, Merida, Uxmal and the caves of Loltun.

Uxmal is am ancient Maya city of the classical period in present-day Mexico. It is considered one of the most important archaeological site of Maya culture. Check out our adventure in Uxmal

Its Alive! We are running two fridges, a portable freezer, 5 Macs, a 12 volt water-maker and the washing machine.

• At the same time.
• On Solar and Lithium, anchored out.
• The inverter is now on 24×7, no moving parts, and no diesel is burned.
• As far as I know, Ad Astra has the largest, greenest electrical power system for a catamaran in her class.

Sunday morning December 10th, 2017 we left Aruba for Grand Cayman, and arrived Sunday December 17th, with a weather stop in Jamaica, all in about 830 nm in 6 days.
